2017年3月14日，新疆油田開發公司經理王康軍來到新疆正通公司調研指導工作。新疆正通公司董事長總經理李月廷就公司的基本情況、鉆井工作策劃、自主化管理等幾方面作了匯報。
新疆油田開發公司經理王康軍聽完新疆正通公司的工作匯報后，認為新疆正通公司工作扎實，近期、遠期規劃很好。同時對新疆正通公司下一步的工作提出了幾點要求和建議：
一、基礎在井隊，要充分了解、掌握施工區塊及井的基礎資料，制定鉆井技術方案，提前有預案，保證井控質量。
二、安全工作責任重大。基層領導等安全責任人要崗位職責清楚，獎罰分明。
三、抓好環保工作。環保是硬指標，要做好環保的具體事項，不能造成二次污染。井隊柴油發電要逐步向使用工業電力轉變，減少環境污染。
四、數據庫建設。公司要加強鉆井資料的數據庫建設，要建立區塊、井位、工藝、技術處理手段等資料的數據庫，形成技術支撐的基礎，同時也是技術的沉淀。
五、工具國產化。公司要充分發揮與國內科研機構及院校合作的優勢，加大鉆井工具的研發，為鉆井降本增效做出貢獻。
六、溝通交流。希望加強與正通公司在國際化人才的培訓等方面的交流活動。
